From the Navan Road in Dublin, Ambition in Glass were Martin Creighton (Vocals), Paul Lacey (Guitar), Dave Drum (Bass) & drum machine Roland TR-606. They were active from 1981-1984. They recorded one 12" single for Rough Trade records intitled "When Allison When" in 1982 at Guerilla Studios in London. Ambition In Glass recorded a Fanning session on Irish Radio on 30th April 1984 featuring the tracks On This Day, Dream The Clouds and Oratorio. In 1984 the band changed their name to The Fireworks Factory with Hugo taking over on bass. Paul Lacey and Martin Creighton went on to form Tower Of Babel.
